ORDINANCE NO. 73-3-769
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF KNIGHT OIL INDUSTRY SERVICE
FOR FURNISHING THE CITY OF PADUCAH WITH MATERIALS, LABOR AND EQUIPMENT
TO INSTALL AN AUTOMOBILE IMPOUNDMENT AREA FENCE, AND AUTHORIZING THE
CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Knight Oil
Industry Service in the amount of $2,916.50, for furnishing the City
of Paducah with all necessary materials, labor and equipment to install
an automobile impoundment area fence as per the specifications
previously advertised. Said bid being in substantial compliance
with the specifications set out in the resolution dated February 13,
1973, adopted by the Board of Commissioners authorizing bids, and as
contained in the bid of Knight Oil Industry Service, dated February 23,
1973, which was received and filed with the Minutes of the meeting
of February 27, 1973.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized
to execute a contract with Knight Oil Industry Service for the purpose
of furnishing materials, labor and equipment to install an automobile
impoundment area fence as set out in Section 1 above according to the
said resolution and said bid.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file
for public inspection for at least one week in the completed form in
which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall
be in full force and effect ten days thereafter.
