AN ORDINANCE CHANGING THE ZONE CLASSIFICATION OF PROPERTY
LOCATED AT THE SOUTHEAST INTERSECTION OF LONE OAK ROAD AND BERGER
ROAD FROM R-2, LOW AND MEDiUM DENSITY RESIDENTIAL ZONE, TO R-4, HIGH
DENSITY RESIDENTIAL ZONE.
WHEREAS, the Paducah Planning Commission conducted a hearing for the
proposed rezoning of property located at the Southeast intersection of Lone Oak Road
and Berger Road at a meeting held on July 7, 1.975, and
WHEREAS, after due consideration, the said Planning Commission declined to
recommend said rezoning, and
WHEREAS, on July 22, 1975, the Board of Commissioners of the City of
Paducah, Kentucky, held a public hearing on the requested rezoning, and heard
and considered the testimony presented by all interested parties who appeared at
said hearing, and
WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners finds that a rezoning from R-2 to
R-4 of said property would be in agreement with the comprehensive plan of this
community, and would be compatible with general changes in the neighborhood,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
OF THE CITY OF PADUCAII, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1.. That the zone classification of the following property be, and
it is hereby, changed from R-2, Low and Medium Density Residential Zone, to R-4,
High Density Residential Zona
Beginning at the point of intersection of the centerline
of Berger Road with the centerline of Lone Oak Road; thence
along and with the centerline of Lone Oak Road in n Southerly
direction 267.89 feet to a point; thence at right angles and
in an Easterly direction a distance of 210 feet to a point in
the present city limits line; thence in a Northerly direction
along and with the present city limits line a distance of 279
feel to a point in the centerline of Berger Road; thence in a
Westerly direction along find with the centerline of Berger Road
n distance of 203 feet to the point of beginning.
SECTION 2. That if any ,:action, pnragrapli or provision of this ordinnnee
shall he fund to be inoperative, ineffective or invalid for any cause, the deficiency
or invalidity of %uch section, pars.(%rnph or provi.,lon shall not affect any other
section, paragraph or provh mn hereof, it heing the purpose, :md intent of this
ordinance to make each and every section, pnral;rsph and provision hereof separahle
from all other !se(Riona, paragraphs and provisions.

SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its adoption.
