HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance Book 18, Page 900, Ordinance Number 75-5-1132900 j ORDINANCE NO. 75-5-1132 AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER AND THE CITY TREASURER TO PAY THE SUM OF $8,389.00 TO DONALD E. PECK FOR A PERMANENT RIGHT-OF-WAY FOR THE LITTLEVILLE ACCESS ROAD BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH,KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City Manager and the City Treasurer be, and they are hereby, authorized to pay to Donald E. Peck the sum of $8,389.00 for the purchase of a permanent right-of-way for the Littleville Access Road upon the hereinafter de- scribed land in Paducah, McCracken County, Kentucky: Beginning at the grantors northwest property corner, said point being the intersection of the South right of way line of a 58.34 foot street dedication (Fir or Cedar Street) of Quarles' Mayfield Road Addition with the East right of way line of a j 16 foot alley dedication, also part of the Quarles' Mayfield Road Addition, said point also being the Northwest corner of Lot 016, Block 2, of said Quarles' Mayfield Road Addition; thence south 72 degrees 13 minutes east along the south right of way line of the 58.34 foot street (Fir or Cedar Street) dedication a distance of 158.14 feet to the point of intersection of the west right of way line of a 60 foot street dedication (Garfield Street), also dedicated as part of the Quarles' Mayfield Road Addition, said point also being the northeast corner of Lot #16 j of said addition and being 29.17 feet at right angles from the centerline of Littleville Access Road; thence south 03 degrees 03 minutes 35 seconds west along the west right of way line of I Garfield Street a distance of 37.04 feet to a point of inter- section of the proposed south right of way line of Littleville 0 Access Road, said point also being 65.00 feet at right angles i from the centerline of said Littleville Access Road; thence north 53 degrees 41 minutes 48 seconds west along the proposed right of way line of Littleville Access Road a distance of 78.71 feet to a point 40 feet at right angles from the centerline of said Littleville Access Road; thence north 65 degrees 33 minutes 14 seconds west a distance of 93.34 feet to the point 11 of beginning. j The above described tract contains 1,969 square feet. Being a part of the same property conveyed to Donald E. Peck by Paducah Realty Company, Inc. , by deed dated March 8, 1974, and of record in Deed Book 561, page 9, in the McCracken County Court Clerk's Office. SECTION 2. Upon receipt of a deed conveying said property to the City of Paducah and approved by the Corporation Counsel, the payment of the purchase price set out in Section I hereof to Donald E. Peck is hereby authorized and directed. SECTION 3.
