ORDINANCE NO. 75-5-1130
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF BELMONT EQUIPMENT
COMPANY, INC. FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF Two (2) 1975 MODEL THREE WHEEL
VEHICLES TO BE USED FOR ENFORCEMENT OF PARKING METER REGULATIONS,
AND AUTHORIZING TIME CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH
PURCHASE

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY
OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Belmont
Equipment Company, Inc. for sale to the City of two (2) 1975, illodel ;140475
Cushman Police Vehicles to be used for enforcement of parking meter regulations,
for the sum of $6,630.00, which includes front bumper, side rub rails and steel
doors in lieu of folding doors, said bid being in substantial compliance with the
bid specifications and advertisement for bids as was authorized by resolution
adopted by the Board of Commissioners on April 22, 1975, and as contained in the
bid of Belmont Equipment Company, Inc, dated May 1, 1975.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to
execute a contract with Belmont Equipment Company, Inc, for sale to the City of the
vehicles authorized in Section 1 above, according to the specifications, bid proposal
and all contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. The purchase price for said vehicles shall be charged to
Federal Revenue Sharing Account No. 2114.
SECTION 4. An emergency is declared to exist and this ordinance shall
therefore he introduced and remain on file for public inspection for one (1) week in the
completed form in which it shnll be put upon it's final passage, and if adopted shall be
in full force and effect immediately thereafter.
