HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance Book 18, Page 882, Ordinance Number 75-4-1118882 ORDINANCE NO. 75-4-1118 AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER AND CITY TREASURER TO PAY PADUCAH POWER SYSTEM THE SUM OF FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS ($5000.00) AS CITY'S SHARE OF EXPENSES FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES TO BE PERFORMED BY TONILL, INC. IN LOCATING AND MAPPING EXISTING UNDERGROUND UTILITIES ALONG BROADWAY FROM FIRST TO SEVENTH STREETS WHEREAS, Towill, Inc., 1731 Commerce Drive, N.N., Suite 117, Atlanta, Georgia 30318, has proposed to Paducah Power System that they will locate and map existing underground utilities along Broadway from First to Seventh Streets, for the sum of Fifteen Thousand Dollars ($15,000.00), and WHEREAS, the location and mapping of such utilities will be beneficial to the City of Paducah for planning and engineering purposes, and WHEREAS, Paducah Power System has requested that the City of Paducah pay one-third of the aforesaid charges, and WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners of the City of Paducah feels that such expenditure is reasonable and for a valid municipal purpose, NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City Manager and the City Treasurer be, and they are hereby, authorized to pay to Paducah Power System the sum of Five Thousand Dollars (55000.00) as the City's share of the charges for Towill, Inc, in locating and mapping 1 erisling underground utilities along Broadway from First to Seventh Streets. I SECTION 2. The aforesaid expenditure shall be charged to Account #9094. SECTION 3.
