ORDINANCE NO. 75-4-1106

AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF K & K OFFICE EQUIPMENT FOR
THE SALE TO THE CITY OF PADUCAH OF 200 STACK CHAIRS AND 20 ROUND FOLDING
TABLES FOR USE IN THE JAYCEE CIVIC CENTER BUILDING, AND AUTHORIZING THE
CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE. A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH,KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of K & K Office
Equipment for the sale to the City of 200 Virco #7000 stack chairs (chrome frame)
for $17.25 each and 20 Virco #6572R 72 inch round 3/4 inch solid core folding tables
for $79.20 each, said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid specifications

and advertisement for bids as was authorized by resolution adopted by the Board of
Commissioners on Aiarch 17, 1975, and as contained in the bid of K & K Office Equipment
dated March 27, 1975.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to
execute a contract with K & K Office Equipment for the sale to the City of the equipment
authorized in Section 1 above, according to the specifications, bid proposal and all
contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. The purchase price for said equipment shall be charged to
Federal Revenue Sharing Account No. 5125.
SECTION 4. An emergency is declared to exist and this ordinance shall
therefore be introduced and remain on file for public inspection for one week in the
completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passnge, and if adopted shall be in
full force and effect immediately thereafter.
