AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE OFFER OF GORDON MEEKS, 700 NORTIIVIEw,
TO PURCHASE THE INTEREST OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH IN PROPERTY AT 1426 NORTH
7TH STREET FOR THE SUM OF $250.00, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY

CLERK TO EXECUTE A QUITCLAIM DEED
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH,KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the offer of Gordon Meeks in the amount of $250.00
to purchase the interest of the City in the following described land in said city
be accepted, said land being described as follows:
Being at 1426 North 7th Street, fronting 75 feet on the
North side of 7th Street 155 feet East of Northview
(Terrell) Street, 55 feet deep, and as shown on page
12 of Block Map Book 3 in the office of the City
' Engineer. See Deed Book 422, page 330.

Being the same land (Henry Brown and Loretta Brown
property) conveyed to the City of Paducah by Benjamin C.
LeRoy, City Treasurer, by deed dated March 11, 1975, and
of record in Deed Book 570, page 125 in the McCracken
4i County Court Clerk's Office.
SECTION 2. Upon the payment of the sum of $250.00 to the City Treasurer
the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to convey to Gordon !hocks
all of the right, title and interest of the City in the property described in Section 1
hereof, and said deed of conveyance shall be quitclaim only, shall contain no warranty
as to title and shall be subject to any state of facts that might be shown by an accurate
survey.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its adoption.
