ORDINANCE NO. 73-2-760
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF LASSITER & MCKINNEY DODGE, INC.
FOR THE SALE TO THE CITY OF ONE (1) 15 PASSENGER MAXI VAN FOR THE
TRANSPORTATION OF SENIOR CITIZENS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY,
AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City accept the bid of Lassiter & McKinney
Dodge, Inc., for the sale to the City of one (1) 1973 Maxi Van for the
transportation of senior citizens of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, said
bid being in the net cash amount of $4,653.80 not including state usage
tax or license fees, and said bid being dated January 30, 1973 and in
compliance with the resolution and specifications for such bid as was
adopted by the Board of Commissioners on December 19, 1972.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized
to execute a contract with Lassiter & McKinney Dodge, Inc. for the
purchase of the vehicle set forth in Section 1 above according to the bid,
the specifications and all contract documents relating thereto.
SECTION 3. An emergency is declared to exist and this ordinance
shall therefore be introduced and remain on file for public inspection for
one week in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final
passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and effect immediately
thereafter.
