ORDINANCE NO. 74-12-1056
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER AND CITY TREASURER
TO PAY THE SUM OF $5,000.00 TO CLYDE F. BOYLES AND BEULAH BOYLES FUTRELL,
CO -TRUSTEES AND CO-EXECUTORS OF CLEVUS S. BOYLES ESTATE, FOR THE
PURCHASE OF A PERMANENT AND PERPETUAL EASEMENT IN THE VICINITY OF U. S.
HIGHWAY 62 IN McCRACKEN COUNTY, KENTUCKY
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH,KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City Manager and City Treasurer be, and they are
hereby, authorized to pay to Clyde F. Boyles and Beulah Boyles Futrell, Co -Trustees
and Co -Executors of Clevus S. Boyles Estate, the sum of $5,000.00 for the purchase
of a permanent and perpetual easement upon the hereinafter described land in
McCracken County, Kentucky:
Being a tract of land for a sanitary sewer easement out of the
C. F. Boyles (estate) property described more fully hereinafter:
Said tract being a strip of land 25 feet wide, the centerline of said
strip of land beginning at a point 165.5 feet, more or less, north
of I-24 Station 1574 + 05; thence running in a southeasterly direction
12.5 feet northeasterly of, parallel and adjacent to said proposed
northerly right-of-way line a distance of 300 feet, more or less,
to a point; thence turning approximately 22 degrees 30 minutes to
the left and running 12.5 feet north of, parallel and adjacent to said
proposed northerly right-of-way line a distance of 204 feet, more or
less, to a point; thence turning approximately 27 degrees 40 minutes
to the right and running 12.5 feet northeast of, parallel and adjacent
to said proposed northerly right-of-way line a distance of 667 feet,
more or less, to a point; thence turning approximately 20 degrees
45 minutes to the left and running 12.5 feet north of, parallel and
adjacent to said proposed northerly right-of-way line to a point in
the westerly property line of the Alice Walker 2.0 acre tract, said
point being approximately 145 feet, more or less, north of existing
U. S. Highway 62 centerline Station 44 + 42.

Being a tract of land for an access road, sanitary sewer and lift
station site out of the C. F. Boyles (estate) property described
more fully hereinafter:
Beginning at the point of intersection of a proposed northerly right-
of-way of Frontage Road No. 13, 335 feet north of 17. S. Highway 62
centerline, Station 58 + 04.58 and a westerly property line of said
C. F. Boyles (estate) property; thence northerly along and with the
westerly property line of the said C. F. Boyles (estate) property 806 feet
more or less to a corner; thence northeasterly and perpendicular to the
southerly right-of-way line of !-24 it distance of 56 feet, more or less,
to the said southerly ri$�ht-of-way line of 1-24 to a corner, said point
being 185 feet, more or less, southwesterly of 1-24 centerline Station
1573 • 92; thence southeat:terly along find with the said proposed
southerly right -of -why line of 1-24 for it distance of 25 feet to a corner;
said point being 185 feet, more or less, southwesterly of F24 centerline
Station 1574 f 17; thence southwesterly, perpendicular to the said
southerly right-of-way line, 26 feet, more or less to a corner; thence
southeasterly and parallel to the westerly property line of the C. F.
Floyles (estate) property 160 feet to a corner; thence westerly and

perpendicular to the westerly property line of the C. F. Boyles
(estate) property 20 feet to a corner; thence southeasterly and parallel
to the said C. F. Boyles (estate) property 658 feet, more or less, to the
proposed northerly right-of-way line of Frontage Road No. 13; thence
westerly along and with said proposed northerly right-of-way 20 feet,
more or less, to a point in the said westerly property line of C. F.
Boyles (estate) property, said point being 317.68 feet north of U. S.
Highway 62 Station 58 + 03.63; thence northerly along and with said
westerly property line a distance of 17.32 feet to the point of beginning

SECTION 2. An emergency is declared to exist and this ordinance
shall therefore be introduced and remain on file for at least one week for public
inspection in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage,
and if adopted shall be in full force and effect immediately thereafter.
