A RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR THE LEASE OF CERTAIN PROPERTY
BELONGING TO THE CITY OF PADUCAH TO THE ST. FRANCIS DeSALES PARISH,
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, THE MOST REVEREND HENRY J.SOENNEKER,BISHOP
OWENSBORO DIOCESE, FOR THE USE AS A PUBLIC PARK
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE
CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized
to execute a lease on behalf of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, leasing the premises
described in Section 2 to St. Francis DeSales Parish, Paducah, Kentucky, The Most
Reverend Henry J. Soenneker, Bishop Owensboro Diocese, for the use as a public
park, for a period of one (1) year, at the annual rental of One Dollar ($1.00) per
annum.
SECTION 2. The property referred to in Section 1 is more particularly
described as follows:
A lot on the west side of South Seventh Street between
Ohio Street and Jackson Street and being more particularly
described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the west right of way line of South
Seventh Street 91 feet south of the intersection of the south
right of way line of Jackson Street with the west right of way
line of South Seventh Street; thence 72.25 feet with said west
right of way line of Seventh Street in a southerly direction to the
north right of way line of a 20.25 foot alley; thence in a westerly
direction with the north line of said alley 112 feet to the southwest
corner of the tract herein described; thence in a northerly direction
and parallel to South Seventh Street 72.25 feet to the northwest
corner of said tract; thence in an easterly direction and parallel
to Jackson Street 112 feet to the point of beginning.
The above described tract contains 0.19 acres.
SECTION 3. This resolution shall be in full force and effect from and
after ithe date of its adoption.
