AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SUB -SECTION (a) OF SECTION 10-59
"PARKS AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT", OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE
CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That Sub -section (a) of Section 10-59 "Parks and Recreation
Department", of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, be amended
and reordained so that said sub -section as amended and reordained shall hereafter
read as follows:
"Sec. 10-59. Parks and recreation department.
(a) There is hereby created and authorized the following positions in the
parks and recreation department, and the salary of each position provided the amount
of such salary is not changed under any apportionment ordinance hereafter adopted,
shall be as follows:

Administrative assistant 585.00
Maintenance Supervisor 740.00
Clerk -stenographer 485.00
Recreation supervisor 770.00
Assistant recreation supervisor 600.00
Senior citizens director 600.00
Base Hourly Rate
Equipment operator "B" 3.61
Equipment operator "C" 3.51
Maintenance Man No. 1 (1 position) 3.51
Maintenance Man No. 2 (3 positions) 3.41
Shop mechanic 3.61
Truck driver (1 position) 3.21"
SECTION 2. Section 1 of this ordinance amends an ordinance adapted
April 11, 1972, and last amended by Ordinance No. 74-4-944, adopted by the Board
of Commissioners on April 2, 1974.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its adoption and retroactive to May 13. 1974.
