AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF WILSON CHEVROLET-
CADILLAC, INC. FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF THREE (3) 1974 FLEETSIDE PICKUP
TRUCKS FOR USE BY THE STREET AND FLOODIPALL DEPARTMENTS, AND
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH,KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky, accept the bid of
Wilson Chevrolet -Cadillac, Inc., for sale to the City of three (3) 1974 Chevrolet
Fleetside Pickup trucks for use by the Street and Floodwall Departments, for the I�
total sum of $8,611.95, less trade-in of one 1966 one-half ton Dodge pickup truck
for $700.00, for a net amount of $7,911.95, said bid being in substantial compliance
with bid specifications and advertisement for bids as was authorized by resolution
adopted by the Board of Commissioners on March 19, 1974, and as contained in the
bid of Wilson Chevrolet -Cadillac, Inc, dated March 27, 1974.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized
to execute a contract with Wilson Chevrolet -Cadillac, Inc. for sale to the City
of the vehicles authorized in Section 1 above according to the specifications, bid
proposal and all contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
The purchase price for said vehicles shall be paid from the following accounts: One
truck shall be charged to General Fund Account No. 3214 and the other two trucks
shall be charged to Federal Revenue Sharing Trust Fund Account No. 3414.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file for one
week for public inspection in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its
final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and effect ten days thereafter.
