ORDINANCE NO. 74-4-957
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF BELMONT EQUIPMENT
COMPANY, INC. FOR SALE TO TI1E CITY OF THREE (3) SATELLITE REFUSE
COLLECTION VEHICLES FOR USE IN THE REFUSE DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING
THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH,KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky, accept the bid of
Belmont Equipment Company, Inc., in the amount of $9,228.00 for sale to the City
of three (3) Satellite Refuse Collection Vehicles for use in the Refuse Department,
said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid specifications and adver-
tisement for bids as was authorized by Resolution passed by the Board of
Commissioners on March 19, 1974, and as contained in the bid of Belmont Equipment
Company, Inc. dated March 28, 1974.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized
to execute a contract with Belmont Equipment Company, Inc. for the sale to the City
of the vehicles authorized in Section 1 above according to the specifications, bid
proposal and all contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
The purchase price for said vehicles shall be charged to Federal Revenue Sharing
Account No. 3514.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file for
one week for public inspection in the completed form in which it shall be put
upon its final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and effect ten days
thereafter.
