AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A
CONTRACT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH WITH PECK ASSOCIATES, INC.
FOR ARCHITECTURAL SERVICES FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A TRAINING FACILITY
FOR THE PADUCAH FIRE DEPARTMENT
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY
OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized
and directed to execute an agreement between the City of Paducah, Kentucky, and
Peck Associates, Inc. for architectural services in the design and construction
of a training facility for the Paducah Fire Department; said contract being verbatim
and in all respects identical to the proposed agreement which was received and filed
with the Minutes of the Board of Commissioners' Meeting on March 26, 1974, and
which proposed agreement is adopted herein by reference.
SECTION 2. An emergency is declared to exist and this ordinance shall
therefore be introduced and remain on file for one week for public inspection in
the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted
shall be in full force and effect immediately thereafter.
