ORDINANCE NO. 74-4-947
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF MOTOROLA COMMUNICATIONS
AND ELECTRONICS, INC. FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF ONE BASE STATION SPLIT
CHANNEL RADIO COMMUNICATIONS REPEATER SYSTEM, AND ONE FIVE -FUNCTION
DIGITAL DECODER TO BE USED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH CIVIL DEFENSE SYSTEM,
AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH,KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky, accept the bid of Motorola
Communications and Electronics, Inc. for the sale to the City of one Base Station
Split Channel Radio Communications Repeater System, and one Five -function Digital
Decoder in the total base price of $3,156.00, said bid being in substantial compliance
with the bid specifications and advertisement for bids as was authorized by resolution
passed by the Board of Commissioners on March 5, 1974, and as contained in the bid
of Motorola Communications and Electronics, Inc., dated March 22, 1974.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to
execute a contract with Motorola Communications and Electronics, Inc. for the sale
to the City of the equipment authorized in Section 1 above according to the specifications,
bid proposal and all contact documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the
bid.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file for
one week for public inspection in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its
final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and effect ten days thereafter.
