ORDINANCE NO. 74-3-936
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF KENTUCKY MACHINERY, INC.
FOR THE SALE TO THE CITY OF PADUCAH OF ONE WARNER & SWASEY MODEL 300
HYDRO -SCOPIC MULTI-PURPOSE EXCAVATOR FOR USE IN THE STREET DEPARTMENT
AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT FOR SUCH
PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH,KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Kentucky Machinery,
Inc. for sale to the City of one (1) Warner & Swasey model 300 Hydro -scopic multi-
purpose excavator for the purchase price of $40,525.00, excluding 5% Kentucky
Sales Tax, said bid being in substantial compliance with the resolution authorizing
bids adopted by the Board of Commissioners on February 12, 1974, and having the
specifications set out in the bid of Kentucky Machinery, Inc. dated February 25,
1974.
SECTION 2. The City Manager is authorized to execute a contract with
Kentucky Machinery, Inc. according to said resolution and said bid as set forth
in Section 1 above. The purchase price for this equipment shall be from Federal
Revenue Sharing Trust Fund Account No. 3414.
SECTION 3. An emergency is declared to exist and this ordinance shall
therefore be introduced and remain on file for public inspection for at least one week
in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted
shall be in full force and effect immediately thereafter.
