ORDINANCE NO. 74-2-928
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF WILSON CHEVROLET-CADILLAC,
INC. FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF TWO (2) NEW 1974 ECONOMY TYPE AUTOMOBILES
FOR USE IN THE INSPECTION DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ORDINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH,KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky, accept the bid of
Wilson Chevrolet -Cadillac, Inc., in the amount of $5,789.22, for sale to the City of
two (2) new 1974 Chevrolet Nova 2 -door automobiles for use in the Inspection Depart-
ment, said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid specifications and
advertisement for bids as was authorized by Resolution passed by the Board of
Commissioners on January 15, 1974, and as contained in the bid of Wilson Chevrolet -
Cadillac, Inc. dated January 30, 1974.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized
to execute a contract with Wilson Chevrolet -Cadillac, Inc., for the sale to the City
of the vehicles authorized in Section 1 above according to the specifications, bid
proposal and all contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. An emergency is declared to exist and this ordinance shall
therefore be introduced and remain on file for at least one week for public inspection
in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted
shall be in full force and effect immediately thereafter.
