ORDINANCE NO. 73-7-847
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT ON
BEHALF OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, WITH THE PURCHASE AREA DEVELOPMENT
DISTRICT FOR PLANNING ASSISTANCE IN FISCAL YEAR 1974, AND PROVIDING THE
TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR SUCH CONTRACT, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY TO
EXIST
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor be, and she is hereby, authorized and directed
to execute a contract on behalf of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, with the Purchase
Area Development District, for providing planning assistance to the City of Paducah
for the period ending June 30, 1974, and wherein the City of Paducah shall contribute
$6,150.00 of the total cost.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be retroactive to the date of June 13, 1973.
SECTION 3. An emergency is declared to exist and this ordinance shall
therefore be introduced and remain on file for one week for public inspection in the
completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall
be in full force and effect immediately thereafter.
