ORDINANCE NO. 73-5- 827
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF HENRY A. PETTER SUPPLY COMPANY
FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF PADUCAH OF OUTSIDE LIGHTING FIXTURES FOR THE
CIVIC CENTER PARKING LOT, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE
A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky, accept the proposal of
Henry A. Potter Supply Company for sale to the City of eight (8) outside lighting
fixtures for use in the Civic Center Parking Lot, in the total amount of $1,264.00
excluding applicable taxes, said proposal being dated May 10, 1973.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to
execute a contract with Henry A. Petter Supply Company for sale to the City of the
items authorized in Section I above, according to the proposal of said Company dated
May 10, 1973, the resolution passed by the City on April 24, 1973, and all contract
documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. The cost of this equipment shall be paid from Account No. 9094.
SECTION 4. An emergency is declared to exist and this ordinance shall
therefore be introduced and remain on file for at least one week for public inspection
in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted
shall be in full force and effect immediately thereafter.
