ORDINANCE NO. 2001-8- 6-40-1-'
AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH
PLANNING COMMISSION ON THE PROPOSED ZONING CHANGE FOR 300 SOUTH FOURTH
STREET, AND AMENDING THE PADUCAH ZONING ORDINANCE SO AS TO EFFECT SUCH
REZONING
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That a resolution passed by the Paducah Planning Commission on July 16,
2001, and entitled, "A RESOLUTION CONSTITUTING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH
PLANNING COMMISSION ON THE PROPOSED ZONING CHANGE FOR 300 SOUTH FOURTH
STREET," be approved as the final report of said Commission respecting the matters therein set forth.
SECTION 2. That the zone classification and the map amendment proposed in said
resolution be, and the same are hereby, declared to be in agreement with the comprehensive plan of the
City of Paducah.
SECTION 3. That the zone classification of 300 South Fourth Street be, and it is hereby,
changed from M-1 (Light Industrial Zone), to A-1, (Civic Center Zone):
Beginning at a point at the intersection of the centerlines of Clark Street and
South 3rd Street; thence in a northerly direction with the centerline of South 3rd
Street a distance of 412.5' to a point; said point located at the intersection of the
centerlines of South 3rd Street and Washington Street; thence in a westerly
direction with the centerline of Washington Street a distance of 206.25' to a
point; said point being in the center of Washington Street; thence in a southerly
direction a distance of 412.5' to a point; said point being in the center of Clark
Street; thence in an easterly direction with the centerline of Clark Street a
distance of 206.25' to the point of beginning.
SECTION 4. That if any section, paragraph or provision of this ordinance shall be found
to be inoperative, ineffective or invalid for any cause, the deficiency or invalidity of such section,
paragraph or provision shall not affect any other section, paragraph or provision hereof, it being the
purpose and intent of this ordinance to make each and every section, paragraph and provision hereof
separable from all other sections, paragraphs and provisions.
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become
effective upon summary publication pursuant to E-11,3 Ch- - "
