ORDINANCE NO. 75-10-1181
AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH
COMMISSION RESPECTING THE REZONING OF PROPERTY LOCATED ON BROAD STI
FROM BRIDGE STREET TO BROWN STREET, AND AMENDING THE PADUCAH ZONIN
ORDINANCE. -1971 SO AS TO EFFECT SUCH REZONING
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY
PADUCAH. KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That a resolution adopted by the Paducah Planning Coi
on September 15, 1975, entitled "A RESOLUTION CONSTITUTING THE FINAL REPO]
PADUCAH PLANNING COMMISSION ON THE PROPOSED REZONING OF PROPERTY L(
ON BROAD STREET FROM BRIDGE STREET TO BROWN STREET", be approved as t
report of said Commission respecting the matters therein set forth.
SECTION 2. That the zone classification change and the map amend
proposed in said resolution be, and the same are hereby, declared to be in agreem
with the comprehensive plan of the City of Paducah.
SECTION 3. That the zone classification of the following property t
it is hereby, changed from R-3, Medium Density Residential Zone, to B-1, Conven
and Service Zone:
Beginning at the point of intersection of the centerline of South
9th Street and the centerline of Broad Street; thence in a southwest-
erly direction along the centerline of Broad Street a distance of
186.5 feet to the intersection of the centerline of Broad Street, with
the centerline of a 15 foot alley parallel to Bridge Street; thence in
a southeasterly direction along the centerline of said alley, a dis-
tance of 177.5 feet to the point of intersection of the centerline of a
15' alley parallel to Broad Street; thence, in a southwesterly dir-
ection along the centerline of a 15 foot alley parallel to Broad Street
a distance of 507.4 feet to the intersection of the centerline of a 15 f<
alley para]Ielto Bridge Street; thence in a southeasterly direction
along the centerline of said 15 foot alley parallel to Bridge Street, a
distance of 52.5 feel to a point: thence in a southwesterly direction,
a distance of 192.5 feet to a point in Elmer Crouch's east property line:
thence in a southeasterly direction a distance of 100 feet, more or less,
to a point; thence in a southwesterly direction a distance of 314 feet
more or less, to it point; thence in a northwesterly direction a dis-
tance of 235 feet, more or less to a point in the south right of way line
of Broad Street; thence along said south right of way line in a
northeasterly direction, a distance of 35 feet, more or less, to a
point; thence in it northwesterly direction, it distance of 390 feet
to a point; thence in a northeasterly direction at distance of 226.9 feet
to a point in the Fred Morgan north prol-aerty line; thence in it
southeasterly direction with said property line a distance of 65 feet
to a point; thence in it northeasterly direction 260 feat northwest of
and parallel to the Broad Street north right of -wary lino it distance of
415 feet, more or less, to the east property line of 11mer Crouch; thence
in a southeasterly direction along and with the east Property line of
F.Imc!r Crouch, a distance of 230 feet, more or less, to the centerline
of Broad Strcet; thence in it northeasterly direction along the center-
iil,e cf Hroad Street, a distance rf 487,5 feet, more or less, to the
point of teginning.

SECTION 4. That if any section, paragraph or provision of this ordinance
shall be found to be inoperative, ineffective or invalid for any cause, the deficiency
or invalidity of such section, paragraph or provision shall not affect any other

I section, paragraph or provision hereof, it being the purpose and intent of this
ordinance to make each and every section, paragraph and provision hereof separable
from all other sections, paragraphs and provisions.
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after the date of its adoption.
