HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 17, Page 990, Ordinance Number 72-4-636990 %I ORDINANCE NO. 72-4-636 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 2-47 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES CITY OF PADUCAH', KENTUCKY BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That Section 2-47 "Noncivil service employees generally" be anended and reordained so that said section as amended and reordained shall hereafter read as follows: "Sec. 2-47. Noncivil service employees generally. (a) The monthly or hourly rate of compensation of the following noncivil service employees of the City of Paducah shall be the amount set opposite the designation of such employment, to -wit: Position - Base Monthly Salary Corporation Counsel $1,300.00 Assistant corporation counsel 450.00 Assistant corporation counsel (police court) 600.00 City treasurer 875.00 Planning director 1,250.00 Director of street department 821 00 Director of refuse department 750.00 Director of parks and recreation 910.00 City physician 11000.00 Clerk of Paducah Police Court 428.33 Deputy clerk, Paducah Police Court 170.00 Chief foreman - refuse department 623.33 Foreman - refuse department 578.33 Shop Foreman - refuse department 627.33 Housing code enforcement officer ( 3 positions) 522.33 Temporary clerks in finance office (4 positions) 250.00 Superintendent of Oak Grove Cemetery 615.00 Switchboard operator 328.33 Patrolmen - parks 190.00 Clerk' -typist - Secretary, Police department 400.00 Base Hourly Rate Temporary and seasonal laborers $2.00 991 Part-time inspector in inspection office $2.50 Part-time park patrolmen (2 positions) 2.45 Dog Warden (2 positions) 2.35 (b) The housing code enforcement officer shall be paid at the rate of $522.33 per month for the first six months of employment; At the expiration of six months, $532.33 per month, and at the expiration of one year $543.33, such increases to be made upon recommendation of the city manager. SECTION 2. Section 1 amends an ordinance that was last amended by Section 1 of Ordinance No. 71-11-556 adopted November 9, 1971. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption, and retroactive to April 1, 1972.
