A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE USE OF PROCLAIMER CERTIFICATES
FOR THE MECHANICSBURG CODE ENFORCEMENT PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the Department of Housing and Urban Development
authorizes local public agencies carrying out HUD programs to certify
to the existence and documentation of certain facts and requirements,
subject to a postaudit by the said department and in lieu of the
submission of such documentation for prior review and approval by
the department, as set forth in such regulations, policies and
requirements of the Secretary of the Department of Housing and
Urban Development as shall be in effect from time to time,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the following officials are authorized to
prepare, execute and submit the following proclaimer certificates
to the Department of Housing and Urban Development on behalf of the
City of Paducah in accordance with the regulations, policies and
requirements of the Secretary of the Department of Housing and
Urban Development as shall be in effect from time to time:
The Mayor and the Executive Director of the Mechanicsburg
Code Enforcement Program are authorized to prepare, execute and submit:
1. Proclaimer Certificates relative to technical specifications
and conformance with local standards or standards necessary to support
concentrated code enforcement objectives for project improvements.
SECTION 2. This resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
