ORDINANCE NO. 70-4-308
AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING
COMMISSION RESPECTING THE REZONING OF PROPERTY ON NORTH 13TH STREET
EAST OF BLOOMFIELD, AND AMENDING THE PADUCAH ZONING ORDINANCE -1961 SO
AS TO EFFECT SUCH REZONING
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That a resolution adopted by the Paducah Planning
Commission on April 1, 1970, entitled "A RESOLUTION CONSTITUTING THE
FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING COMMISSION ON THE PROPOSED REZONING
OF PROPERTY ON NORTH 13TH STREET EAST OF BLOOMFIELD", be approved as the
final report of said Commission respecting the matters therein set forth.
SECTION 2. That the zone classification change and the map
amendment proposed in said resolution be, and the same are hereby declared
to be in agreement with the comprehensive plan of the City of Paducah.
SECTION 3. That the zone classification of the following property
be, and it is hereby, changed from R-3 Two -Family Residential Zone to
B-4 Commercial Zone:
Beginning at the point of intersection of the center line
of 13th Street with the west property line of F. F. Finley
if extended; thence in a southerly direction and along and
with the west property line of F. F. Finley a distance of
455 feet to a point, the southwest corner of F. F. Finley;
thence in an easterly direction along and with the south
line of Finley 92 feet to a point, the southeast corner of
Finley; thence in a northerly direction along and with the
line of Finley 275 feet to a point, the southwest corner of
Jesse Sparks; thence in an easterly direction along and with
Sparks south line 40 feet to a point; thence in a northerly
direction along and with Sparks east line 180 feet to the
point of intersection with the center line of 13th Street;
thence in a westerly direction along and with the center line
of 13th Street 132 feet to the point of beginning.
SECTION 4. That if any section, paragraph or provision of this
ordinance shall be found to be inoperative, ineffective or invalid for
any cause, the deficiency or invalidity of such section, paragraph or
provision shall not affect any other section, paragraph or provision
hereof, it being the purpose and intent of this ordinance to make each
and every section, paragraph and provision hereof separable from all
other sections, paragraphs and provisions.
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its adoption.
