ORDINANCE NO. 72-3-623
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF DAVID L. COLLIER AND WIFE,
JOHNNIE J. COLLIER, TO PURCHASE THE INTEREST OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH
IN LOT 15 IN BLOCK 4 IN O'BRYAN'S ADDITION TO PADUCAH FOR THE SUM OF
$250.00, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A QUITCLAIM
DEED
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH,
KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the offer of David L. Collier and wife, Johnnie
J. Collier in the amount of $250.00 to purchase the interest of the
City of Paducah in the following described land in said city be
accepted, said land being described as follows:
Lot 15 in Block 4 in O'Bryan's Addition
to Paducah, fronting 40 feet on Center
Street, and being a part of the same land
(A. W. Milliken property) conveyed to the
City of Paducah by Ben C. LeRoy, Treasurer,
by deed dated July 6, 1970, and of record
in Deed Book 519, page 638 in the McCracken
County Court Clerk's office.
SECTION 2. Upon payment of the sum of $250.00 to the City Treasurer,
the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to convey to
David L. Collier and wife, Johnnie J. Collier, in survivorship, all the
right, title and interest of the City in the property described in
Section 1 hereof, and said deed of conveyance shall be quitclaim only,
shall contain no warranty as to title and shall be subject to any state
of facts that might be shown by an accurate survey.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its adoption.
