ORDINANCE NO. 72-1-601
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF ALLAN RHODES, INC. FOR SALE
TO THE CITY OF ONE NEW 1972 FORD FOUR DOOR SEDAN AUTOMOBILE FOR USE
BY THE CHIEF OF THE PADUCAH POLICE DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE
CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Allan
Rhodes, Inc. in the amount of $3,375.00 for sale to the City of one
new 1972 Ford Galaxie 500 four door sedan for use by the Chief of
the Paducah Police Department, said vehicle having the specifications
set out in a resolution adopted December 14, 1971 by the Board of
Commissioners of said city authorizing advertisement for bids for such
equipment, and as contained in the bid of Allan Rhodes, Inc. dated
December 31, 1971.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby,
authorized to enter into a contract for the purchase of said vehicle
as set out in Section 1 above.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on
file for public inspection for at least one week in the completed form
in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall
be in full force and effect ten days thereafter.
