ORDINANCE NO. 71-12-593
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF SIRCHIE FINGERPRINT LABORATORIES
OF MARYLAND FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF ONE MOBILE CRIME UNIT FOR USE IN THE
PADUCAH POLICE DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO
A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD -OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Sirchie
Fingerprint Laboratories of Maryland for sale to the City of one mobile
crime unit for use in the Paducah Police Department, said bid being
dated December 2, 1971 and in the net amount of $11,450.00 deleting
options 1 and 2 of said bid, said bid being in compliance with the
resolution passed by the Board of Commissioners on November 9, 1971,
authorizing bids.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be authorized to execute a'
contract for the purchase of the equipment set out in Section 1 above
according to the said bid and said resolution.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file
for at least :one week for public inspection in the completed form in
which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall be
in full force and effect ten days thereafter.
