ORDINANCE NO. 7.110-552
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF ANGELS OF MERCY, INC., FOR
FURNISHING AND INSTALLING OF WARNING LIGHT AND SIREN SYSTEMS FOR VEHICLES
IN THE PADUCAH POLICE DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH,
KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Angels of
Mercy, Inc., for furnishing and installing four (4) Federal Twinsonic
with TS -24 Speaker; four (4) Federal PA20A Interceptor Sirens, and
four (4) FM 204 Motorola Radio cable adaptors for a total charge of
$1,833.72 with a full one year warranty, said bid being in compliance
with the specifications as set out in a resolution dated September 14,
1971, adopted by the Board .of Commissioners authorizing bids, and as
contained in the bid of Angels of Mercy, Inc. received September 24, 1971.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized
to execute a contract with Angels of Mercy, Inc. for purchase of the
equipment as set out in Section 1 above according to said resolution
and said bid.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file
for at least one week for public inspection in the completed form in which
it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall be in full
force and effect ten days thereafter.
