ORDINANCE NO. 71-9-542
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF CAN-TEX INDUSTRIES FOR THE
SALE TO THE CITY OF SEWER PIPE AND ACCESSORIES FOR USE IN THE
CONSTRUCTION OF SEWERS IN THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, AND
PRESCRIBING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS UPON WHICH SUCH CONTRACT SHALL
BE MADE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Can -Tex
Industries for the sale to the City of sewer pipe and accessories for
use in the construction of sewers in the City of Paducah, said bid
being dated August 31, 1971 and in compliance with the resolution
authorizing bids adopted by the Board of Commissioners on August
24, 1971, and said bid being in words and figures as follows:

SECTION 2.
That the City Manager be, and he
is hereby,
authorized to execute a contract with Can -Tex Industries for the
purchase of the merchandise as set out in Section 1 above according
to said resolution and said bid.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on
file for at least one (1) week for public inspection in the completed
form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted
shall be in full force and effect ten days thereafter.
