ORDINANCE NO. 70-3-300
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF KAY UNIFORMS FOR FURNISHING THE
CITY OF PADUCAH POLICE DEPARTMENT UNIFORMS FOR THE YEAR 1970, AND
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASES
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Kay Uniforms
for furnishing the City of Paducah Police Department with uniforms for the
year 1970, said bid being dated March 2, 1970, in words and figures
as
follows:

Delivery on tailor made uniforms is approximately 8 - 12 weeks,
caps
approximately 3 - 4 weeks on original order, immediately thereafter,
and
balance of uniforms we have in stock ordinarily for immediate delivery."
Said bid being in substantial compliance with the resolution authorizing
bids
dated February 10, 1970.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized
and
directed to enter into a contract for the purchase of items set
our in Section 1, at times and in quantities as needed for the period
of one year from date of such contract.

SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file
for at least one (1) week for public inspection in the completed form
in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall
be in full force and effect ten (10) days thereafter.
