ORDINANCE NO. 71-7-511
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF ALLAN RHODES, INC. FOR SALE
TO THE CITY OF ONE NEW 1971 4 -DOOR MEDIUM SIZED STATION WAGON FOR
USE IN THE POLICE DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Allan
Rhodes, Inc. for sale to the City of one (1) new 1971 Ford 4 -door
Custom 500 Ranch Wagon for use in the Police Department, said bid
being in the net amount of $3,927.00, and said bid being in compliance
with the resolution passed by the Board of Commissioners on July 2, 1971
authorizing such bids, and as contained in the bid of Allan Rhodes, Inc.
dated July 12, 1971.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager he, and he is hereby, authorized
to execute a contract for the purchase of the property described in
Section 1 above and as provided for in said resolution and said bid.
SECTION 3. An emergency is declared to exist and this ordinance
shall therefore be introduced and remain on file for at least one (1)
week for public inspection in the completed form in which it shall be
put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and
effect immediately thereafter.
