ORDINANCE NO. 71-6-483
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF WILSON CHEVROLET-CADILLAC, INC.
FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF ONE (1) NEW 1971 MODEL ONE-HALF TON PICK-UP
TRUCK FOR USE AT THE SEWAGE TREATMENT PLANT IN THE CITY OF PADUCAH,
KENTUCKY, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR
SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY;
SECTION I. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Wilson
Chevrolet -Cadillac, Inc. for sale to the City of one (1) new 1971 model
one-half ton pick-up truck for use at the Sewage Treatment Plant in the
City of Paducah, said bid being in the net amount of $2,183.34, and
said bid having the specifications as set out in the Resolution adopted
May 11, 1971 by the Board of Commissioners authorizing bids, and as
contained in the bid of Wilson Chevrolet -Cadillac, Inc. dated May 27,
1971.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized
to execute a contract with Wilson Chevrolet -Cadillac, Inc. for the
purchase of the property set out in Section 1 above according to said
resolution and said bid.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file
for at least one week for public inspection in the completed form in
which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted sha11 be
in full force and effect ten (10) days thereafter.
