AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1 OF AN ORDINANCE ENTITLED "AN
ORDINANCE FIXING AND ADJUSTING THE RATES OF PAY FOR CERTAIN NON -CIVIL
SERVICE EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH," WHICH WAS ADOPTED ON MARCH
16, 1957 AND LAST AMENDED ON FEBRUARY 24, 1970
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF

PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That Section 1 of an ordinance containing the title
quoted above, which was adopted on March 16, 1957, and last amended on
February 24, 1970, be, and the same is hereby further amended and reordained
so that said section as amended and reordained shall read as follows:
"SECTION 1. That the monthly or hourly rate of compensation
of the following non -civil service employees of the City of Paducah
shall be the amount set opposite the designation of such employment, �5

The Housing Code Enforcement Officer shall be paid at the rate of
$435.00 per month for the first six months of employment, at the
expiration of six months $445.00 per month, and at the expiration of
one year $455.00 per month, such increases to be made upon recommendation
of the City Manager.
The Maintenance Superintendent shall be paid at the rate of
$570.00 per month for the first six months of employment; at the
expiration of six months $580.00 per month, and at the expiration of
one year $590.00 per month, such increases to be made upon recommendation
of the City Manager.
The Meter Maintenance Man shall be paid at therate of $2.43 per
hour for the first six months of employment and at the expiration of six
months the rate of pay shall be $2.48 per hour, such increase to be
made upon recommendation of the City Manager.
The No. 2 Maintenance Man shall be paid at the rate of $2.33 per
hour for the first six months of employment and at the expiration of
six months the rate of pay shall be $2.38 per hour, such increase to
be made upon recommendation of the City Manager.
The Maintenance Helper shall be paid at the rate of $2.23 per hour
for the first six months of employment and at the expiration of six
months the rate of pay shall be $2.28 per hour, such increase to be made
upon recommendation of the City Manager.
The Laborers in Cemetery Department shall be paid at the rate of
$2.00 per hour for the first six months of employment; at the expiration
of six months $2.05 per hour; at the expiration of one year $2.10 per hour
and at the expiration of two years $2.15 per hour, such increases to be
made upon recommendation of the City Manager."
SECTION 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are, to the extent of such conflict, hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be retroactively effective as of
March 1, 1970.
