ORDINANCE NO. 70-3-294
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 6 OF AN ORDINANCE ENTITLED
"AN ORDINANCE REGULATING AND GOVERNING BURIALS, DISINTERMENT AND
REINTERMENT CHARGES IN OAK GROVE CEMETERY AND ADDITIONS THERETO",
WHICH WAS ADOPTED BY THE GENERAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH,
KENTUCKY, ON OCTOBER 23, 1909, AND LAST AMENDED DECEMBER 10, 1968
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That Section 6 of an ordinance containing the
title quoted above, which was adopted by the General Council of the City
of Paducah on October 23, 1909, and last amended on December 10, 1968,
be, and the same is hereby further amended and reordained so that said
section as amended and reordained shall read as follows:
"SECTION 6. All grave lots sold in Oak Grove Cemetery and
additions thereto, including Rushing Addition, under what is known as
the single grave privilege, the price thereof is hereby fixed at a
minimum of $100.00 per grave, with certain exceptions requiring higher
and lower prices as follows:
(a) In the Mausoleum Addition the price per grave shall
be $175.00;
(b) In the first row facing Rushing Street in Section 6
the price per grave shall be $150.00;
(c) In the second row of Section 6 behind the foregoing
lots facing Rushing Street, the price per grave shall
be $125.00;
(d) All lots in Sections 6, 7, 18, 19 and 29 in Oak
Grove Cemetery, the price per grave shall be $125.00;
(e) For the small size grave lots in certain sections for the
burial of children 12 years of age and under, the price
per grave shall be $50.00."
SECTION 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are, to the extent of such conflict, hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
