Gentlemen:
G and R Properties, Inc. is constructing a motel on property

having been conveyed to them by deed dated July 1, 1969, and
recorded in Deed Book 510, page 537, in McCracken County
Court Clerk's office.
For the motel to be served by sewer it is necessary to extend
a sewer from Vasseur Avenue. In consideration of G and R
Properties, Inc. constructing said sewer, the undersigned
G and R Properties, Inc., hereby makes the following offer
to the City of Paducah:
1. The undersigned, G and R Properties, Inc.,
will construct an eight inch sewer from a
manhole in Vasseur Avenue, located north of
Hobson, said sewer to extend in an Easterly
direction a distance of 983 feet to a
manhole to be constructed on the east property
line of the above described property at a
fifteen foot alley. The sewer is to be
constructed along the center line of an
easement heretofore conveyed to the City of
Paducah, and will be constructed according
to a sewer plan prepared by Elmer Y. Hollis,
on file in the City Engineer's office.
2. The undersigned will furnish bonds and
insurance as required by the City Engineer's
Department in the City of Paducah.
3. The undersigned shall have the right to
tap into the Vasseur Avenue sewer at the above
manhole without a tap on fee to the City of Paducah.
4. The owners of the following four described
tracts of land, or their assigns, shall be
charged a $1,000.00 tap on fee by the City of
Paducah to tap on to the above mentioned sewer
that will be constructed by the undersigned.
If and when said owners tap on said sewer,
54
and the fee paid to the City of Paducah,
said tap on fee shall be remitted to the
undersigned. The four owners and a brief
description of their property are as follows:
(1) Bill Dallas and wife for the
lot immediately east of the G and R
property
(2) The property of L. L. Walker and
wife on the north side of the Beltline
immediately east of the Dallas property
(3) The tract owned by Dalton Woodall
and David Reed on the north side of
the South Beltline property, west of
the G and R property. This would
include an easement to the sewer line.
(4) Property of F. A. Hopper and wife
that fronts on the Beltline and behind
the Walker property to the creek
The above terms and conditions are respectfully submitted as an
offer.
Very truly yours,
