ORDINANCE NO. 71-2-435
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING 0A CHANGE ORDER TO THE CONTRACT BETWEEN
LITTLETON, INC. AND THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, FOR THE CONSTRUCTION
OF SITE IMPROVEMENTS IN THE OAKLAWN CODE ENFORCEMENT AREA OF THE CITY
OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, WHICH CONTRACT WAS AUTHORIZED BY ORDINANCE OF THE
BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS DATED JUNE 24, 1969
WHEREAS the site improvement construction work in the Oaklawn Code
Enforcement Area of Paducah, Kentucky, has required several increases in
the work to be performed, and.
WHEREAS said increases have been compiled in Change Order No. 7
for Project Ky. E-1 for a total increase of $14,581.52, of which the
City of Paducah would be required to pay $5,032.28, and the United States
of America Department of Housing and Urban Development would be required
to pay the remainder, and
WHEREAS the Department of Housing and Urban Development has
concurred in the proposed Change Order No. 7,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE
CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION I. That a change order in the contract for construction
of site improvements in the Oaklawn Code Enforcement Area of Paducah,
Kentucky, between Littleton, Inc. and the City of Paducah, Kentucky, in
the net amount of $14,581.52, of which the City of Paducah will be
required to pay $5,032.28, be, and the same is hereby, authorized by
this Board.
SECTION 2. The Executive Director of the Oaklawn Neighborhood
Improvement Project is hereby authorized and directed to take all steps
necessary to effect such change order on behalf of the City of Paducah,
Kentucky, and to properly account for same in the sharing of costs
between the City of Paducah and the United States of America Department of
Housing and Urban Development.
SECTION 3. An emergency is hereby declared to exist, and this
ordinance shall therefore be introduced and remain on file for one (1)
week for public inspection in the completed form in which it shall be
put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and
effect immediately thereafter. /I
