RESOLUTION OF CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, APPROVING THE CONDITIONS
UNDER WHICH RELOCATION PAYMENTS WILL BE MADE FOR PROJECT NO,
WHEREAS, the City of Paducah, Kentucky has filed with the Department
of Housing and Urban Development an Application for financial assistance
under Title I of the Housing Act of 1949, as amended, in connection with
the carrying out of a Code Enforcement project designated Project No.
and
WHEREAS, the Regulations Governing Relocation Payments adopted pursuant
to Section 114 of Title I require that the conditions under which the City
of Paducah, Kentucky will make relocation payments in connection with the
Code Enforcement project contemplated by the application, the Schedule of
Average Annual Gross Rentals for Standard Housing in Locality to be used
for determining the amounts of Relocation Adjustment Payments to be made in
connection with the project contemplated by the application, and if fixed
Relocation Payments are proposed, the Fixed Relocation Payments Schedule
be officially approved by the City of Paducah, Kentucky; and
WHEREAS, there was presented to this meeting of the City of Paducah,
Kentucky for its consideration and approval, a set of conditions under which
the City of Paducah, Kentucky will make Relocation Payments, which set of
conditions and Schedule of Average Annual Gross Rentals for Standard Housing
in Locality dated January 15, 1971, and a Fixed Relocation Payments Schedule
dated January 15, 1971, are attached hereto and marked for the project con-
templated; and
WHEREAS, the conditions under which the City of Paducah, Kentucky will
make Relocation Payments, the Schedule of Average Annual Gross Rentals for
Standard Housing in Locality, and the Fixed Relocation Payments Schedule
were reviewed and considered at the meeting; and
WHEREAS, Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, and the regul-
ations of the Department of Housing and Urban Development effectuating
that title, provide that no person shall be discriminated against
because of race, color, religion, sex or national origin in the use of
the land acquired and/or developed:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF
THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the conditions under which the Public Body will
make Relocation Payments are hereby in all respects approved.

SECTION 2. That the Schedule of Average Annual Gross Rentals for
Standard Housing in Locality is hereby in all respects approved.
SECTION 3. That the Fixed Payments Schedule is hereby in all res-
pects approved.
SECTION 4. That the Executive Director of the proposed project is
hereby designated to approve all claims for Relocation Payments and to
approve minor changes in previously approved conditions under which relo-
cation payments will be made, including the Schedule of Average Annual
Gross Rentals for Standard Housing in Locality and the Fixed Payments
SECTION 5. That the United States of America and the Secretary of
Housing and Urban Development be, and they are hereby, assured of full
compliance by the City of Paducah, Kentucky with Regulations of the De-
partment of Housing and Urban Development effectuating Title VI of the
Civil Rights Act of 1964.
SECTION 6. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect from
and after its adoption.
