A RESOLUTION AFFIRMING THE CITY OF PADUCAH'S INTENT TO MAINTAIN .
AND OPERATE THE POOL AND BATH HOUSE IN NOBLE PARK AFTER COMPLETION OF THE
PROPOSED NEW CONSTRUCTION
WHEREAS, the City of Paducah has requested the Bureau of Outdoor
Recreation to participate in funding the construction of a pool and bath
house in Noble Park, and
WHEREAS, the Bureau of Outdoor Recreation requires the City's
assurance that it will maintain and operate such pool and bath house
after completion of the proposed new construction.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF
THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah affirm its intention to
maintain and operate any pool and bath house constructed .in Noble Park
in the City of Paducah, Kentucky, in part by funds from the Bureau of
Outdoor Recreation, and assure such Bureau that the City shall comply
with the Bureau's requirements of maintenance and operation.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, directed
to forward a copy of this Resolution to the Bureau of Outdoor Recreation
together with any application and request for participating funds in the
construction of a pool and bath house in Noble Park.
SECTION 3. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
