AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING
COMMISSION RESPECTING THE REZONING OF PROPERTY LOCATED AT 6TH AND
HUSBANDS STREET, AND AMENDING THE PADUCAH ZONING ORDINANCE -1961 SO AS
TO EFFECT SUCH REZONING
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH,
KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That a resolution adopted by the Paducah Planning
Commission on December 16, 1970, entitled "A RESOLUTION CONSTITUTING
THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING COMMISSION ON THE PROPOSED
REZONING OF PROPERTY LOCATED AT 6TH AND HUSBANDS STREETS, be adopted as
the final report of said Commission respecting the matters therein set
forth.
SECTION 2. That the zone classification change and the map
amendment proposed in said resolution be, and the same are hereby
declared to be in agreement with the comprehensive plan of the City of
Paducah.
SECTION 3. That the zone classification of the following property
be, and it is hereby, changed from R-3 Two -Family Residential Zone to B-4
Commercial Zone:
Beginning at the point of intersection of the center line of 6th Street
with the center line of Husbands Street; thence in a southerly direc-
tion along and with the center line of 6th Street 177.5 feet to a
point, the dividing line between Lawson Woods and Lynn B. Rankin, if
extended; thence in an easterly direction along and with said dividing
line a distance of 198.5 feet to a point in the center line of a 22
foot alley; thence in a northerly direction along and with the center
line of said alley a distance of 177.5 feet to the point of inter-
section of the center line of said alley with the center line of Husbands
Street; thence in a westerly direction along and with the center line
of Husbands Street a distance of 198.5 feet to the point of beginning.
SECTION 4. That if any section, paragraph or provision of this
ordinance shall be found to be inoperative, ineffective or invalid for
any cause, the deficiency or invalidity of such section, paragraph or
provision shall not affect any other section, paragraph or provision
hereof, it being the purpose and intent of this ordinance to make each
and every section, paragraph and provision hereof separable from all
other sections, paragraphs and provisions.

SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its adoption.
