ORDINANCE No. 70-10-396
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF WILSON CHEVROLET-CADILLAC, INC.
FOR THE SALE TO THE CITY OF THREE (3) 1971 ONE-HALF TON PICK-UP TRUCKS
FOR USE IN THE STREET DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Wilson
Chevrolet -Cadillac, Inc. for the sale to the City of three (3) 1971
one-half ton pick-up trucks for use in the Street Department in the
net amount of $7,447.47, said bid having the specifications as set
out in the resolution adopted by the Board of Commissioners on
September 8, 1970 authorizing bids, and as contained in the bid of
Wilson Chevrolet -Cadillac, Inc. dated September 16, 1970, said bid
being for Models CE10704.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized
to execute a contract with Wilson Chevrolet -Cadillac, Inc. for the
purchase of the property set out in Section 1 above and according to
said resolution and said bid.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file
for at least one week for public inspection in the completed form in which
it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall be in full
force and effect ten days thereafter.
