ORDINANCE NO. 70-9-373
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE AN ANCHOR EASEMENT
TO THE ELECTRIC PLANT BOARD OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, ON CITY
PROPERTY NEAR THE LONE OAK ROAD AND JACKSON STREET
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor and the City Clerk be, and they are
hereby, authorized to execute an Anchor Easement from the City of
Paducah, Kentucky, for the consideration of One Dollar ($1.00) to the
Electric Plant Board of the City of Paducah, Kentucky d/b/a Paducah
Power System, which easement shall be on a tract of land located on
U. S. Highway 45, commonly known as Lone Oak Road, being the same
property conveyed to the City by the Paducah Junior Chamber of Commerce
by deed dated March 6, 1969 and of record in Deed Book 507, page 348
McCracken County Court Clerk's office, which easement shall be more
particularly described as follows, to -wit:
An anchor easement only, being five (5) feet
on either side of a centerline; said centerline
being more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at a point in Grantor's westerly
property line said point being five (5) feet
north of Grantor's southerly property line;
thence, in an easterly direction a distance
of forty (40) fleet to a point in Grantor's
property.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
