A RESOLUTION PERTAINING TO THE SALE OF CONSOLIDATED EDUCATIONAL
BUILDINGS REVENUE BONDS, SERIES B AND SERIES C, FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE
PADUCAH JUNIOR COLLEGE (NOW KNOWN AS UNIVERSITY OF KENTUCKY, PADUCAH
COMMUNITY COLLEGE)..
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That in connection with the City's proposed offering
at public sale of $412,000 "Consolidated Educational Buildings Revenue
Bonds, Series B" and $350,000 "Consolidated Educational Buildings
Revenue Bonds, Series C" for the benefit of Paducah Junior College
(now known as University of Kentucky, Paducah Community College),
the following instruments and cocuments are approved and the use
thereof is authorized, as appropriate in each instance:
(a) "Notice of Sale of Bonds," relating to the
Series B Bonds;
(b) "Notice of sale of Bonds," relating to the
Series C Bonds;
(c) "Statement of Terms and Conditions of Bond Sale,"
relating to the Series C Bonds (no such instru-
ment being necessary in the case of the Series B
Bonds, because all necessary details are set
forth in the "Notice of Sale of Bonds" in that case;
(d) "Official Bid Form" for the Series B Bonds; and
(e) "Official Bid Form" for the Series C Bonds.
SECTION 2. In anticipation of second reading approval of
the "Series B and Series C Ordinance" on or about August 18, 1970,
and in order that compliance may be made with statutory requirements
regarding the publication of sale notices, in order that the Series B
Bonds and the Series C Bonds may be sold at the regular meeting of
the Board of Commissioners scheduled to be held on August 25, 1970,
the City Clerk is hereby authorized to sign each of the foregoing
approved "Notices of Sale of Bonds," and the Fiscal Agent is author-
ized to cause the same to be published prior to August 18, 1970, in
(a) the Paducah Sun -Democrat, (b) The Louisville Courier -Journal, and
(c) The Daily Bond Buyer, New York, N. Y., as in said Ordinance provided.
SECTION 3. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect
upon its adoption, no newspaper publication being required by law.
