ORDINANCE NO. 72-12-737
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF RAY H. MULLEN MOTOR COMPANY,
INC. FOR THE SALE TO THE CITY OF ONE (1) 1973 FOUR DOOR AUTOMOBILE
FOR USE BY THE CITY MANAGER, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City accept the bid of Ray H. Mullen
Motor Company, Inc. for sale to the City of one (1) 1973 Ambassador
Brougham 4 door sedan, Model 85-7 for use by the City Manager, said
bid being in the net cash price of $3,524.50, and said bid being
dated December 19, 1972 and in compliance with the resolution and
specifications for such bid as was adopted by the Board of Commission-
ers on December 12, 1972.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby,
authorized to execute a contract with Ray H. Mullen Motor Company, Inc.
for the purchase of the vehicle set forth in Section 1 above according
to the bid, the specifications and all contract documents relating
thereto.
SECTION 3. An emergency is declared to exist and this ordinance
shall therefore be introduced and remain on file for public inspection
for at least one week in the completed form in which it shall be put
upon its final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and effect
immediately thereafter.
