ORDINANCE NO. 72-12-729
AN ORDINANCE CREATING AN ACCOUNT TO BE KNOWN AS "FEDERAL
REVENUE SHARING TRUST FUND" FOR THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City Treasurer be, and he is hereby,
authorized and directed to establish an account to be known as
'Federal Revenue Sharing Trust Fund", which account shall be assigned
an appropriate Account Number by the City Manager or City Treasurer
according to present or future accounting systems employed by the
City of Paducah.
SECTION 2. The purpose of the account shall be to account for
all receipts and disbursements of money received from the United States
of America under the Federal Revenue Sharing Program.
SECTION 3. The City Treasurer shall account for all such funds
according to guidelines established and to be established by the United
States of America, and he shall permit only such expenditures from said
account as are lawful and in compliance with Federal regulations.
SECTION 4. That unless and until the United States of America
requires the establishment of a separate bank account for the Federal
Revenue Sharing Trust Fund Moneys, any amounts received from such
source and for such purposes may be deposited with the General Funds
of the City of Paducah but strictly accounted for through the new
"Federal Revenue Sharing Trust Fund" account.
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
