AN ORDINANCE' APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING
OUMMISSION RESPECTING THE REZONING OF CERTAIN PROPERTY LOCATED ON THE
NORTH SIDE OF CLAY STREET BETWEEN 12TH AND 13TH STREETS, AND AMENDING THE
PADUCAH ZONING ORDINANCE -1971 SO AS TO EFFECT SUCH REZONING
t BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That a resolution adopted by the Paducah Planning
Commission on October 16, 1972, entitled "A RESOLUTION CONSTITUTING THE
FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING COMMISSION ON THE PROPOSED REZONING
OF CERTAIN PROPERTY LOCATED ON THE NORTH SIDE OF CLAY STREET BETWEEN
12TH AND 13TH STREETS", be approved as the final report of said Commission
respecting the matters therein set forth.
SECTION 2. That the zone classification change and the map amendment
proposed in said resolution be, and the same are hereby declared to be
in agreement with the comprehensive plan of the City of Paducah.
SECTION 3. That the zone classification of the following property
be, and it is hereby, changed from R-3, Medium Density Residential Zone,
to B-3, General Business Zone:
Beginning at a point in the center line of Clay Street 150 feet
west of the northwest corner of the intersection of 12th and
Clay Streets, said point being the point of intersection of the
east property line of W. H. Harris, et al, if extended, with the
center line of Clay Street; thence in a westerly direction along
and with the center line of Clay Street a distance of 200 feet
to the point of intersection of the west property line of W. H.
Harris, et al, if extended, with the center line of Clay Street;
thence in a northerly direction and with the west property�,line
of W. H. Harris, et al, a distance of 206 feet to the center line
of a 16 foot alley; thence in an easterly direction with the
center line of said alley a distance of 200 feet to a point;
thence in a southerly direction along and with the east property
line of W. H. Harris, et al, a distance of 206 feet to the point
of beginning.
SECTION 4. That if any section, paragraph or provision of this
p ordinance shall be found to be inoperative, ineffective or invalid for
any cause, the deficiency or invalidity of such section, paragraph or
provision shall not affect any other section, paragraph or provision
hereof, it being the purpose and intent of this ordinance to make each
and every section, paragraph and provision hereof separable from all
other sections, paragraphs and provisions.

This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
