AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF MRS. MARY WILLIAMS, 710 SOUTH
10TH STREET, TO PURCHASE THE ANTEREST OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH IN PROPERTY
ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF JACKSON STREET 110 FEET EAST OF 12TH STREET, FOR
THE SUM OF $700.00, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE
A QUITCLAIM DEED
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the offer of Mrs. Mary Williams in the amount
of $700.00 to purchase the interest of the City in the following described
land in said city, be accepted, said land being described as follows:
Being all of Lot 6 and 5 feet off of Lot 7 in
Block 8 of Churchills Addition, fronting 45 feet
on the south side of Jackson Street and extending
back a uniform width 165 feet to an alley, and
being 110 feet from 12th Street.
Being the same land conveyed to the City of Paducah
by Julia E. Wooldridge by deed dated May 1, 1964
and of record in Deed Book 463, page 331 in the
McCracken County Court Clerk's office.
SECTION 2. Upon the payment of the sum of $700.00 to the City
Treasurer, the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed
to convey to Mrs. Mary Williams all of the right, title and interest
of the City in the property described in Section 1 hereof, said deed
of conveyance shall be quitclaim only, shall contain no warranty as
to title, and shall be subject to any state of facts that might be
shown by an accurate survey.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
