AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF MILAM MOTORCYCLE SHOP FOR THE
SALE TO THE CITY OF TWO (2) 1970 MODEL THREE -WHEEL POLICE VEHICLES
FOR USE BY METER MAIDS IN THE POLICE DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH,
AND PRESCRIBING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS UPON WHICH SUCH PURCHASE
SHALL BE MADE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Milam
Motorcycle shop in the amount of $4,641.80, less $1,400.00 for trade-in
of two 1966 Westcoaster vehicles, making a net total bid of $3,241.80
for the sale to the City of two (2) 1970 model three -wheel 765
Westcoaster Traffic Masters with cab and steering wheel, having
in all respects the specifications set out in a resolution adopted
February 24, 1970, authorizing advertisement for bids for such equip-
ment and as contained in the bid of Milam Motorcycle Shop dated
March 27, 1970.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby,
authorized to enter into a contract for said vehicles as set out
in Section 1 hereof.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file
for at least one (1) week for public inspection in the completed form
in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall
be in full force and effect ten (10) days thereafter.
