ORDINANCE NO. 72-7-673
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF LEE G. BERRY, 2633 CWNTER STREET,
TO PURCHASE THE INTEREST OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH IN LOT 15 IN BLOCK 1,
O'BRYAN'S ADDITION ON CENTER STREET, FOR THE SUM OF $200.00, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A QUITCLAIM DEED
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the offer of Lee G. Berry in the amount of $200.00
to purchase the interest of the City in the following described land
in said city be accepted, said land being described as follows:
Lot 15 in Block 1 in O'Bryan's Addition
fronting 40 feet on Center Street, and
as shown on page 53 of Block Map Book
No. 4 in the office of the City Engineer.
Being a part of the same property (A. W.
Milliken) conveyed to the City of Paducah
by deed dated July 6, 1970 and of record
in Deed Book 519, page 638 in the McCracken
County Court Clerk's office.
SECTION 2. Upon the payment of the sum of $200.00 to the City
Treasurer, the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed
to convey to Lee G. Berry all the right, title and interest of the City
in the property described in Section 1 hereof, and said deed of conveyance
shall be quitclaim only, shall contain no warranty as to title and shall
be subject to any state of facts that might be shown by an accurate
survey.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its adoption.
