ORDINANCE NO. 72-6-655
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING PAYMENT IN THE AMOUNT OF $4,962.65
TO WEST KENTUCKY EQUIPMENT COMPANY FOR THE REPAIR OF ONE CASE END
LOADER, MODEL NO. 1150 FOR THE STREET DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY
WHEREAS, the City of Paducah Street Department Case End Loader
Model No. 1150 became inoperable, unsafe and was in need of immediate
repair, and
WHEREAS, the West Kentucky Equipment Company of Paducah, Kentucky
is the authorized representative for parts and services for Case
equipment, and
WHEREAS, the Director of the Street Department obtained a
quotation from said company and requested immediate service to effect
the needed repairs for which there was no time for formal bidding,. and
WHEREAS, the equipment has been completely repaired at a cost
of $4,962.65.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City Treasurer be, and he is hereby,
authorized to pay to West Kentucky Equipment company the sum of $4,962.65
for the labor and material used to repair the Case end loader Model
No. 1150 of the City of Paducah Street Department.
SECTION 2. That Account No. 3409 "Machine Parts Streets and
Sewers" be charged with the repairs.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file for at
least one week for public inspection in the completed form in which it shall
be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and
effect ten days thereafter.
