ORDINANCE NO. 72-5-653
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF CHAS. TODD UNIFORM RENTAL
SERVICE FOR FURNISHING THE CITY OF PADUCAH WITH UNIFORMS FOR THE
REFUSE DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A
CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY;
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky, accept the bid
of Chas. Todd Uniform Rental Service Company for furnishing the City
with uniforms for personnel in the Refuse Department, said bid having
unit prices of $0.32 each for shirts, $0.36 each for pants and $0.68
each for coverall, said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid
specifications and the advertisement for bids as was authorized by a
resolution passed by the Board of Commissioners on April 25, 1972,
and as contained in the bid of Chas. Todd Uniform Rental Service Company
dated May 15, 1972.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized
to execute a contract with Chas Todd Uniform Rental Service Company of
Mayfield, Kentucky, for furnishing the City with uniforms for the
personnel in the Refuse Department, as authorized in Section 1 above
according to the specifications, bid proposal and all contract documents
heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. That this ordinance shall be introduced and
remain on file for at least one week for public inspection in the
completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and
if adopted shall be in full force and effect ten days thereafter.
